Ian & Rachel Critchley – Senior Pastors
Ian and Rachel have been the senior pastors of Destiny Church since 1989. They are also the Apostle to Destiny Connections International a network of Churches around the world

Ian, born in Stoke-on-Trent, trained for Ministry in Kenley, London and began ministry in 1973 before moving to the USA for some time. Ian and his wife Rachel (who comes from North Wales) then pioneered a Church in Prestatyn, where they lived for thirteen years before moving with their three children to Wakefield in 1989.
They are now doting grandparents. Family is important to them, and ‘family’ is what you feel when you become part of Destiny Church. They have worked faithfully for many years for church to become strong, growing and effective so it can be a significant influence centre that will result in Revival.
Ian is called to be an Apostle, this means he and Rachel help bring leadership and mentoring to many ministries around the world through Destiny Connections International.
Wesley Critchley – Executive Pastor
He makes a significant and distinctive addition to the ministry at Destiny where he has served God since 2009.

He loves tech and to make things work! Wesley graduated from Leeds University with a degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, before gaining his PGCE Teaching qualification and managing special needs at Wakefield College, He then began working at Destiny in 2009 and gained a Masters Degree in Theology.
Daniel & Lucie Martin- Team Pastor
Leading and developing worship at Destiny and enabling our social media reach.

Dan & Lucie both have a theology degree and love to lead worship, song write and record their own albums. Lucie is a deputy head teacher at a primary school.

Pastoring, teaching and supporting our Cantonese speaking families and everyone at Destiny.

Moving several years ago with their family from Hong Kong they have a passion for helping Cantonese families to connect with local Church. Joanne works in Admin.

Steve has worked with Children and youth for many years. Vanessa works for a high school providing pastoral support.
